Evening Star

Monday evening...while I was taking pictures of the pineapple quilt today, I decided to pull this one out of the closet also. Snapped a digital closeup of the fabric and some of the quilting on the Evening Star quilt. You can see that I quilted the one quarter inch in on the cream fabric. I quilted in the ditch around the larger cream squares and then quilted a maple type leaf in each one. All the dark floral is quilted in one quarter inch, but there is no quilting in any of the rusty red, except the border. Posted by Picasa

Dear Finn, sending love to you..after reading your comments at my post. You feel the same things I do, yet all is so temporary in the end, and matters not when we are departed from this sad world, and enter into the joy of our Lord With our loved ones that personally trusted Christ. But, like you, I look with some amazement at things left behind...that they are here yet. But, then....they don't have an eternal soul..nor were they created in the image of God nor had the breath of life breathed into them at birth by God. I think the Lord just gave me some insight there!! love & comfort to you!...also I want you to know, that on my sidebar, your blog is listed under needlework blogs...but you are right 'up there' with 'blogger friends' in my heart.
