Wednesday morning..today I'm going to share a few more of my favorite things, and also 5 of my favorite "stars". These are 5 of my 9 grandsons. I have one granddaughter, but we had to "marry in" to get her ! Drives my oldest DGS crazy since she's 2 years older than him and the only girl. Needless to say, It's good to be the Princess ! Behind me(different haircut back then) is my christmas Shoo Fly quilt. For the record we've never managed to get all 9 boys together at the same time..still trying..*VBS*

Oh what a wonderful picture! and I'm just jealous of all those precious grandchildren. Finn, you are a rich woman! The quilt is lovely! I wish I could get done 1/10 of what you accomplish! I haven't had time to post on Knitting Kat and wanted to leave that post on for a couple of days anyway. My hubby is home with a virus since Tuesday. He's starting to feel better, hoping I don't catch it. My uncle passed away last night. He had a heart attack. I wasn't real close to him,we only saw him oh....maybe once or twice a year lately, but he was a special person, always doing for others. He always said he was 'saved'. I'm glad of that...blessed hope..in times like these. Loved your comments...you are a special person. I appreciate your friendship via blogland. = )
WOW - I can't even imagine having 9 young boys together at one time! Just these 5 seem to be a handful!
Thank you ladies..they really are beautiful boys. When that picture was taken, my "princess" wasn't yet in the family. We were blessed with her ROYAL presence in September of 2000. My daughter#1 married her old highschool sweetheart 14 years later, and I became the Grandma to a girl...finally! Since then 4 more little boys have been added to the 5 on the couch, and YES Dawn...any combination of them is A HANDFUL !!!!
