October 10th..I'm back *S* Had a marvelous time at LLCC on my fall retreat. Laughed alot, talked with old, old stitching friends, shared food, fellowship, stories and lots of sewing.
It's good to get away for a few days. It's even better to know where "home" is, and to return.
The weather was beautiful autumn weather, all weekend. No rain or clouds or snow this year. Friend Betsy and I hit many quilt shops and our way north, and altho I didn't do much damage, found a few things I liked and added to my stash.One new pattern that I will scan to here soon.
Lots to do this week, but mostly "catch up" kind of stuff since I've been both busy and gone lately. Hope all my blogger friends and fellow mavericks have had a good weekend...Tonya has some really great Halloween stuff over at lazygalquilting.blogspot.com Check out her neat quilts with awesome quilting if you haven't. Glad you're home dear Finn! I'm about ready to put this computer to sleep and just hurried over to see if you were back. I'll come visiting tomorrow I hope. Cello lesson tomorrow night and a collage to get started on. We've been busy laying carpet etc. Blessings to you my friend!
