Sunday, Nov. 13th...cold, windy and rain in WI today. This sharing is for Tonya...now don't panic Ton, I'm going to give you close ups of this book scan...ok?? The book is one I bought at a library sale...you know, those 25 cents buys? It's quite an old book by todays standards, published in 1986 by AQS. It's called First, Nine and Always by Millie Leathers. Pretty typical 1980's book. BUT...the photographs are of OLD quilts and then she gives the templates to make them. As you can see, this one is called "Fragments" and she only offers her comments, which are interesting and quite nice. The quilt is from the 19th century and is 70" X 78". It belong to a friend of the authors, and was pieced before 1900 by the friends grandmother. It's considered a memory quilt. Now for some close ups..*S* Posted by Picasa

Finn, you know me so well. Know that I'll LOVE this quilt and that I'll want to see more (greedy girl).

Hi Finn....so you're reading...'No Holly for Miss Quinn'...I love that book and own a copy too. You made an instant connection with me when you said you were reading that. *s* I'm so busy right now..well on Saturday emptying out my closet and sorting things. I have that job to finish up tomorrow. Its so late, I'd better get to bed. Hope there is sunshine on your shoulders! You don't know how you have touched my days and brightened them with your saying that in the comments. Blessings to you!
