A Quilt for Alisen, my only granddaughter. This is much the same idea as Bonnie's crumbs. The magazine where I saw it done, it was called "mile a minute quilts". I used the magenta and deep teal to make her happy, and added her name across the top to make it personal. Given for her birthday in 2001. Machine pieced and professionally machine quilted.
