Churn Dash Blocks...

Churn Dash blocks..a scrap quilt started years ago with the grand idea of making a few every now and then til I had enough. I had 25 finished. I need more. But I added a 2" strip on each of the 4 sides, so they finish at 9" now.I'm going to make at least 5 more tomorrow, and decide if I need an additional lattice in between them. Heading for 60" X something. They look pretty good. Only the one yellow one fades away. Posted by Picasa

it's more interesting when you have some blocks that are lighter or darker than the others - can't all be the same! they do look great.

Thanks gal! I do like them and the random-ness of just pulling a strip out of the drawer and sewing it on..*S*

Awesome awesome! And I like that yellow one that fades out. It's what I like to think of as 'ghost block'. Its the kind of thing in maverick old quilts that make you look again, now you see it, now you don't. I'ts great! I hope your cold is about GONE!

And I laughed about your post about the spammers. Join the club!
