For Nines....this is the second flower garden I hand pieced. I used fabrics that find less favor and acceptance, as do many children. It's called "In my heart's garden", and I gave it to the birth mother of my oldest daughter. Hand pieced, hand quilted, it lives in Michigan.
And before you ask...NO..that is NOT me, holding it...LOL

Oh Baby! I've never been brave enough to make a grandmother's flower garden!
Finn, this is one quilt I've always wanted to try to make...or to buy on eBay! After seeing Nines new start on one and your quilt, I'm thinking it may be time to pull out my quilt patis and give it a go!
I love it and your daughter's birth mother must be very proud to have it in her home.
