Thursday, Nov. 3rd..this is the log cabin that I am currently trying to get finished up. I'm headed for queen size and the blocks are 10" finished..I think it's 6 X 6 layout at this point. All the fabrics are autumn tones with a soft gold Moda for the light sides.

kindred spirit..if you would want to email me, the addy is up under "see complete profile". I can give you the measurements. You probably don't need a pattern if you have some sewing experience. Otherwise I can steer you to a pattern (I hope, as the "jars" have been around in many sizes for quite a few years). I certainly NEVER mind if someone want to rightclick the pictures. I often to that so I can study the quilt longer to see what the block is, or how it's laid out.

I love the warm colors in this quilt. How wide are your strips? I also loved your basting frame and like how it is set high- No sore knees or stiff shoulders hunkering down to baste or tie a quilt!

Love the purples with the golds. Queen size? You better get sewing :)

Oooooh, Finn -- I love the fall log cabin. What beautiful colors. It's fabulous. Are you going to hand quilt it?
