TriangleMania...a quilt made of scrap triangle pairs. I had a bunch of triangles left over and used a layout that was in the July 1988 issue of Quiltersnewsletter.. Basically a "block" is a nine patch, using 9 dark triangles, 3 medium and 6 light. If you'd like the order of placement drop me a line. To get a 73" X 88" top you would make 80 of the 9 patch units. Mine is slightly smaller than that as I was working with left over trianges of a slightly larger than the pattern size...*G* Machine pieced, utility quilted with perle cotton. Approx. 1998 Posted by Picasa

Oh wow, nice eye candy!!

And one of my favorite kind of quilts - anything and everything can go in it. :)

thanks gals...I've been sleeping under this one most of the summer as it has a very thin, flat batting...it's definitely a "happy" quilt..*S*

Finn, it's beautiful! I'd love the order of placement for it...this is something I could see myself making. If I ever had time to make quilts! :o)

Finn? I have a bunch of half square triangles too...but they don't look anything like this!!!

Hmmm. Wonder why! ;-)

Oh, come on now...the little baggy that they're in will surely "preserve" them, right?! Just joking!

Your quilt is so striking! Love it!

I knew there was a reason I've started saving the triangle squares leftovers! Great quilt!
