Finn's MOST favorite of all time Christmas fabric. It was purchased in a Ben Franklin dime store in Amery, WI in the very early 1980's. We lived in that area from 1980 to 1984. No, being Maverick does NOT mean being weird...LOL. The lime green was ahead of it's time. I love the kooky santas, and I love the snow falling all over the fabric. Everything about it makes me happy when I see it. There is some of this fabric in nearly every Christmas quilt I make, and bits of it find their way into my Mile a Minute blocks as well. It's one way I add love to things I create. I've never met anyone who even liked this fabric...*VBG* So....?

I love the lime green santas! My fave Christmas fabric was of pigs dressed in santa suits, complete with beards. It was SO UGLY it was cute! And I've used it all up. I'll have to see if I can find a piece of it in a scrap quilt and post it for you..*LOL*

I must admit I'm fond of the surfing santas here, but I don't own even one little piece of Christmas fabric.

Now turtles and batiks are another story. :)

Fun fabric - looks like something that would have gone well the Christmas stuff I had growing up in the 60's.

I love it too! But I just have to ask, just HOW MANY YARDS of this fabric did you buy, if it's lasted for every Christmas thing and Mile a minute quilts you've made since the 80's? Maybe that's why I've never seen it before at a store?

I've never been into Christmas fabric but you have convinced me to meander over to that section of the store and check 'em out and get out of my safety zone :)
