Wednesday, Dec. 14th...whoooopie...WI is a winter wonderland today...heading into 4-8" and 20-30 mph wind blowing it all over the place. I'm happy cause I miss that dreaded appointment with my dr. for the part of my physical I didn't have in Oct. AND I get to stay inside and sew. I've now have 4 of the blocks done for that January baby quilt. It's not so bad...just not what I "choose" to do. Please keep in mind that my DD and her best friend, Litle Sam's mom, shopped for, selected, bought, and washed the fabrics I will be using. What they didn't buy was background, unless you count 3 FQ's of lights..LOL..I don't. Luckily I had the soft yellow that goes rather well with what they selected, and works with the flannel backing they bought(the blocks are laying on itin this pic). The upper right star center is a fussy cut puppy..he doesn't show up very well. Think I'll have to use the dalmations puppies instead. Any one guess that the upcoming baby is a boy???? Posted by Picasa

Oh this is sooo cute! It may not be your thing Finn, but the little baby will love it when he gets older - it is soooo cute. I LOVE the puppy block. I know Emily would want that block!

It's amazing how the quilt is cute and masculine at the same time. I love it.

And I'd love to sit and look at your stash. I got a real sense that if I had a stash like that at my house I'd feel compelled to start many new projects.

Thank you for sharing the pictures. I really enjoyed all of them.

Aloha,
Darilyn

Finn, is this the Hexagon stamp you were talking about? I tried to send you email, but it bounced:

Cute quilt -- it's coming together. They did a nice job on the backing -- pretty fabric.

I love the "I spy" stars! It might not be what you wanted to work on, but it will be done, and it is oh, so cute!

We've turned really cold here too..windy...it's been rainy, but not quite frozen, though it is supposed to ice over. I'm staying in too!
