A sunny sunday. Baby quilt almost done for tomorrow. Some quilting done on the bargello. BUT....look what I found on my ironing board this morning..! Did I sleep walk? Were the gremlins busy in the night? That's alot of solids, and I don't like working with solids......what can it mean???? Posted by Picasa

I'm thinking it looks like a challenge to me. Actually they look good together. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Finn, did those fabrics really just appear?

I'm betting you've come up with a plan for them by now and I can't wait to see it.

Solids? Looks like a pretty confetti cake - I think you'll have to cut up that ironing board cover with the vines, too, with whatever you make. It looks good with them, too!

Hmm, maybe you've been looking at Bonnie's blog and seeing how gorgeous her quilts look with solids and have started walking and playing with fabric in your sleep...

I can see a beautifull simple amish quilt from them :c)

OK Finn, I have no idea what your up to - but I sure can't wait to find out! All I could think of was Gwen Marston's log cabins in which she used all solids like this? Hmmmm????

Solids do add sparkle, on occasion. (I don't care for them either - except whe a hand dyed is very close to solid.)
