As I said, I'm having a very hard time getting this UFO finished. And THIS is the reason. It was my choice to use this backing fabric. I just focused on getting another older piece used...naturally. But I see now that I am going to have to write a note to myself, DON'T use a dark backing if the binding is medium to dark. I absolutely CANNOT see the tread or the stitch, or even the edge of the binding against this background. One of the dirty little secrets to having this particular vision challenge. I'll muddle through this one, but be wiser next time....you can count on it!!

Oh my, that does look hard on the eyes! I'd better get to bed, I was there already and got up to answer the phone and look where I am. Our son wanted me to do something online for him and I'm making one of my favorite stops here. Hope your Saturday is splendid and fine..*vbs*
oh my ...so hard for anyone to see Finn...let alone you with your less than perfect eyes.
Yes, dark is hard to see. I try to handstitch anything with black in outdoor sunlight.

OMG my stitching would be all over the shop! No way I could do it. You're a wonder!
