Weird red background fabric for Linda J(which won't be my setting strip) And a section of the braid before I trim. I don't pre-cut the length of 2" strip that I am using...I just add them as I pick them, and trim even after 5 or 6 strips. By using the triangle(Thanks Amy!!) to begin, I've chosen to make my braid 5" wide. It's the width of the 24" ruler that I use. Posted by Picasa

Making braids...I should have known this is where you've been.

I started to say Good Morning, but I see it's 5 pm...where has the day gone?

Triangle to start with is great idea!! Thanks, Finn and Amy. Now why didn't I think of that since you have to square it off anyway.

I am not sure where that weird red Beyer piece came from as I don't recall owning any of the yardage but I had gotten stuff in strip swap at one point.

Funny that both of us have it floating around in our braid.

I like the multi colored braid. I'll have to revisit braids again next time without a foundation.

Finn, know what? I've got some of that green teardrop stuff--also in red and blue background. (on the right side braid) Used the red for cornerstones on my RR crossing as a matter of fact, LOL

Very fun. I always love looking at the different fabrics you use.

What a fun project, Finn. It looks like it would use up lots of strips really fast! You're probably breaking the sound barrier on this project!

YO'YO's!, I have to see if any more of that is hanging out in my stash... "Y" is a rather hard I SPY letter... (I love "seeing" things in Finn's quilts...)
