Quilt, Quilt, Quilt...and the scrappier the better. What could be better than a friend who quilts and loves scraps??? Why a friend who makes you a scrappy planned quilt for your 60th birthday, of course! The photoes of the birthday quilt are now complete. You have the row by row unveiling. I will take at least one more picture, of the whole quilt, to pull things together for you. Gotta check and see how windy it is outside, as I'll have to photograph it out there. It's too long to get it all inside. So watch this space for the last picture..*VBS*

What a fun, fun quilt! It helps to know the progression of the rows as well as Betsy's progress as a quilter over the years.
You must have been looking for something to do if you were digging through my group's archived pics. I've got more that I should load over there from our yahoo group. It just takes so blamed long to do it. (gripe, gripe)
sounds like a great time! FUN quilt! WHAT A GIFT!!!
Hugs

Finn, I love your scrap quilts. Even though every little thread and piece of fuzz sticks to black, I love using black backgrounds.

Its really a great fun quilt. Certainly perfect for someone turning 60.
what an amazing quilt...boy Betsy knocked herself out (I am quite sure she had a total blast doing it) making this special quilt for you...looking forward to seeing the entire quilt in one shot...it's been fun..and you know? the chicken is my favorite too! hugs

Wonderful friend, wonderful quilt/gift with all the history and meaning behind the fabrics and blocks. She sure put a lot of thought into it. I've really enjoyed the row by row unveiling!
