You know, sometimes just being beautiful isn't enough...you gotta be SMART!! After waiting 2 days for the wind to die down, or back off, I finally realized I could go around the corner of the building to where the south wind doesn't hit...LOL. Yup, older but smarter...that's me..*G* Here is full length view of the Birthday Quilt. The colors are primarily the brights you see in this closest end. Betsy did 3 kinds of quilting on it, in keeping with the "as we learn" format. Parts are machine quilted, straightline and free motion. Parts are hand quilted, and some is utility quilted with perle cotton. She did a great job on all 3 kinds..*VBS* End of story. Posted by Picasa

Very nice!

What a neat gift. You're lucky to have a friend that can quilt such a fantastic message of the love and friendship you share!

Wow, Finn! How fabulous is this one???!!! What a gift!
Does it have a name? It's making me think of dark night sky with dancing Northern Lights.

Betsy did an awesome job front and back for your birthday quilt gift Finn! I am sure both of you were tickled with how it turned out and it's nice to know you enjoy it so much.

This one looks as good on the back as it does on the front. Terrific quilt for a terrific person.
