Dibs and Dabs... and not much more...production, that is. I'm trying to build up some steam and get going on piecing again..but it's uphill. I love my fabric and love seeing all the wonderful projects everyone is working on..but stay mostly unmotivated myself. Probably thanks to the
newer medication I've begun. The top picture is two projects...the Broken Dishes blocks for a swap with Betsy. Since get two blocks from the 2 squares, we'll each keep one and swap one with each other. And the HST with black are going into my Row Quilt that I started from Betsy's scrap bin last week.
The second picture is a big pile of precut triangles for a different project. They are leftovers and really only good for more broken dishes blocks, because of the
way they are cut.
About 10 or so are already sewn, as shown here. I will work with them in becoming a donation quilt for WTIL. I'll need quite a few as they are about 4.5" or maybe 5"...time will tell.
Katie, at Mismatched Quilter asked me to let you all know her computer crashed again. She is getting a new one completely and will be back sometime in November...posting from Florida. So if you check her blog and there are no posts...that the reason, please don't forget her..*VBS*

Those fabrics look good -- you'll have them whipped into shape in no time flat. Thanks for the update on Katie -- I just checked her blog yesterday. I was thinking maybe Bloglines was not updating me properly. Glad to hear it's only a computer problem and she'll be back with us before we know it *s*

Your broken dishes blocks are really going to be pretty, Finn. :D I'm beginning to wonder if just the change of seasons is encouraging my lethargy and lack of motivation. Sounds good anyway, right?? LOL

Hmm - 4½ or maybe 5 inches sounds more like a good set of blocks to save for a border if you don't want to do a whole quilt of them. :)

What a lovely collection of fabrics for a broken dishes quilt. It's going to be just lovely. We all have fits and starts of inspiration to quilt. Believe it or not, there was a time not so long ago that I didn't quilt at all for months ... I didn't do anything instead, I just didn't have motivation. It can happen to us all, and it passes.
*hugs*

Those broken dishes look pretty nice to me!

I see your little Ebb & she is lovely. I am mostly a dog person, but I almost stole a small cat today. She was so neglected & so thin, my heart broke for her. I found out she is being abused, & so I rang the RSPCA- in Autralia, it is the Royal Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals- & they assured me they would investigate. I wanted to go back to get her, but GOM wouldnt let me. I am such a sucker for all animals, if I had my time again, I would be a vet, for sure!
Cat's neighbours assured me they were going to call RSPCA too, so I hope she gets saved! She was a beautiful Siamese, & was just so adorable. How could anyone be so cruel!

this seasonal change seems to be affecting all of us
creative ladies!

We finally got a gorgeous sunny day today and I have a cold. Doesn't it figure. I've been very spacey on my new meds and it is noooo fun at all - not getting anything done either. Hope you're feeling marvelous soon.

We are on the same wave length, Finn. I have been sewing up broken dishes also. Love it! Glad your kitty is adapting. Love conquers all!
