from the Land of Point, where everything has a point, and if you don't....you are pointless. A very long, long time ago, I watched a movie(or a program?) called The Land Of Point, where everyone had a point but the main character and his dog, Blue. The whole concept of "pointless-ness" stuck with me. I don't believe for a moment that if you don't have a point(the same as everyone else) you are pointless.*VBS*
I like round, all manner and sorts of round, circular, dotted, rings...what have you, as long as it connects to itself and is continous. Maybe that's why I make my rugs round..*G* For whatever reason, I like what I do. Thought I'd bring you up to date on rug production...or adventure.
The first rug pictured is # 3. You saw rug #1 and #2 awhile back....before Christmas. My friend Jean got rug #2 for Christmas. I call it Fiesta. Rug #3 is 30", and I may add more. Rug
#4m the pink and blue one is 24 X 28"..again, not sure if I'm done or not..*G*
#5 is another totally scrappy one, just a bit of this and a dab of that. Not as pretty as fiesta, not as bright. It's 28" at this point and I may add 2 more rounds to make it 30". And to put some dark at the outside.
I don't really have any explaination or excuse for being missing this week(since Saturday), a trip to the Dr on Wed. and a few other commitments, but mostly I've been "stalled" in a quiet place. My meds have been keeping me way too tired and needing a lot more sleep than what is reasonable. I had another abnormal thyroid test in Dec, altho not quite low enough to being any therapy for it. We reconsidered that again at my appointment, and she had blood drawn for a thyroid enzymes test. And we switched a couple of med from a.m. to p.m...hoping that might help. Guess we'll know by Tuesday. Blood has to go to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for analysis. I'm not sure about any of this, but I am way, way past being tired of being tired all the time....keep your fingers crossed for me..*VBS*

Fingers and toes are crossed for you. Love your rugs.
Hi Finn! Sorry you are feeling poorly, hopefully the doc will fix you right up! LOVE the rugs! You are so talented in so many ways! Looks like a great use for scraps, also. Take care and stay warm!
Love all of em!!

I have missed you. I'm thinking good thoughts for you and hope your health issues get resolved soon. Hugs!
Absolutely beautiful, Finn ! These rugs are so charming ! Maybe I'll start one.... "some day" (need several lifes to make what I intend to lmake "some day" LOL).
Of course I'll think about you, Finn, with all my heart, and I'll pray for everything to be solved soon !
Biiiig hugs & smiles,
NADINE.
You won't have any bare floors left anywhere in your house!
So glad to hear from you - we all know that silence from Finn must mean that you aren't feeling up to par in one way or another. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to have no energy at all when there are so many things you are eager to do. I pray that this change of medication works, and if not that your doctors can find something that will. Fingers, toes and everything else that can cross are now crossed for you. Except for my eyes - my mother told me they would stick like that! (Hee, hee)
beautiful assortment of rugs.... Hope your meds even out, I know how rotten that can all feel.
It's horrid to feel tired all the time. Love the pics of the rugs.
Take care Finn. Just curl up with a nice movie and take it easy. I think you may have been writing about the animated movie called The Point. I love this one so much that I bought it last year for myself. It isn't even available in Australia - thank heavens for ebay. The movie is narrated by Ringo Starr and the music is by Harry Nilsson. Magic!!
Finn, lovely rugs...so fun to see them grow..I hear you on being tired of being tired..here's hoping for some energy from changing the meds and good information back on the blood test!
big big hugs...
Definitely have my fingers crossed for you! And thank you so much for showing your rugs. As you know, I ADORE crocheted rag rugs and have been toying with the idea of starting another one! There is something so therapeutic about crocheting--and you get such a nice result! Take care--I'll keep you in my thoughts.
I've missed you and worried you weren't well. That's not good news and I hope with r&r you feel better. Tracey
I have had you on my mind and have missed you this last week -- I hope the doctors soon solve the mysteries and help you get back to your good Finn-self *S*
The rugs are just beautiful. I keep saying I must try one, but then I find another and another unfinished goody I should work on first.
I'll be knocking on your door before you know it asking for help and direction.
Hugs to you. I'm keeping all the things crossed for you. Take care.
Libby
Glad you stopped in for a sec to say hi! I hope your meds get straightened out, and that you feel perkier soon! Meanwhile, you'll be in my thoughts.
Hugs, Jeanne
I was beginning to wonder if you were OK. I hope your meds get straightened out soon. The rugs are adorable.
