Ebby is fine.....

I decided to call the vet's office and inquire what to look for is there was a problem with her food(that contamination recall). She only had the one symptom, tiredness, but I took her in anyway. I also took along the packages of what ingests daily, just in case. Lucky Ebby! Shewas checked over from stem to stern and is fine, except she's still overweight. Eyes, ears, heart, lungs, kidneys, tummy, teeth, everything got checked.
No explaination for the additional sleeping. Let it suffice to say, the 'ahhh hem' trip provided some stimulation, and she was up and about most of the afternoon and evening, and even looked for comfort in my lap(might just have been that darn temperature taking...LOL). So I'm to cut back her food a bit more, hid part of it and let her 'seek' it out, and see if I can get her to play more(exercise). End of story, Ebby's fine.....all's well that ends well. And then there is me........LOL
I'm definitely NOT fine. Marathon coughing, congested lungs, runny nose, sore throat, my ears hurt, I've coughed til I ache and now cold sweating. Soooo, I'm going to crawl into bed with my cough syrup, kleenex, eye drops, cough drops and a big glass of orange juice and see what's on cable today. Luckily, other than sewing and cleaning, I have nothing that needs doing. See ya later......I'll be under that crumb quilt if you need me.

Hi Finn! So sorry you are feeling under the weather. And glad that Ebby is fine. I think she was just experiencing sympathy symptoms for you.

Take care of yourself!

Finn, I'm so glad that Ebby is fine and you've taken such good care of her. I'm also glad you're taking care of yourself. Rest, relax and enjoy the television. The cleaning and sewing will be there waiting for you!

So glad to hear that Ebby is well -- maybe she was just demonstrating what Finn should do . . . get plenty of rest *S* Take care and feel well soon.

Finn, I'm so sorry you're feeling bad ! You made the best choice to stay in bed, under a good healing quilt, and with good medicines.... I wish you a quick recovery !
(Glad that Ebby is allright)

Maybe Ebby's tiredness was symapthetic to your sick feeling.

Oh, I wish I could bring you some of my chicken soup. How thin does the vet want Ebby to be? Glad she is fine. What's this e-mail she sent to Kipper suggesting he get Katie to take your temperature the way her's was taken. VBS

I am so glad you took Ebby in for a check up and got nothing but good news. I am SO sorry you are so badly under the weather - you sound terrible even in print! Rest lots, drink lots of fluid, and get better fast. Wish I were closer so I could bring you some good chicken soup!

Wouldn't dream of disturbing you from under the crumb quilt - which, BTW, looks nice and soft and cosy - the best place to be. I offered my son a different quilt from his usual soft one the other day and he said 'Mum, I'm sorry, but this is just like cardboard. It was too, really heavily machine quilted. Utility quilting has many advantages.

Glad Ebby checked out okay at the vet's! I have worried about that darn cat food recall for my two furbabies too--even though what they eat was never on the list. Now, time for Finn to get all better!

You're taking such good care of Ebby. Where did you find that picture of me with the purple critter slippers and disjointed eyes?? That is certainly the picture of an Ailing Soul. Get well soon!

If you look how the picture shows, then you are one sick lady. Oh my. Good to know that Ebby is okay but not good hearing that you aren't. Take care of both of you!

Hope a day spent under your gorgeous crumb quilt did the trick. Glad to read that Ebby is fine. Ours have been sleeping a lot too, but I'm putting that down to the unusually high temperatures here. Lots to drink and Vit C for you and a snuggly cuddle with her Mum for Ebby (if she will let you).

I hope you get to feeling better soon. No fun being sick, I know. I'm glad nothing's wrong with Ebby.
