"The time has come, the walrus said.....

to speak of other things, of ships and shoes and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings" Another old favorite....*VBS* But I haven't as much time, today, as the walrus. Just popping in to say
hello and let you know that I have Webshots albums, mostly of quilts, that I have shown on my blog. If you are interested you can find them at http://community.webshots.com/user/finnleah
AND I wanted to tell you that you are welcome to "have" my wooden spools picture/pictures.
I have begun an album called "The Best Things in Life...." where I will periodically add pictures that I have taken that I REALLY like..*VBS* I'm sure you all know the drill...you can download them at Webshots, or you can right click your mouse and copy them from here to a picture file.
I decided(*G* Pardon my ego!) that the 'spools' picture of yesterday was just too good not to share with others who love thread, color and old wooden spools..*VBS* Enjoy!! Hugs, from Finn

Finn, thanks for the sharing spirit. If I can figure out how to download, I'll be taking advantage of your offer. The copying part is always challenging for me. :)

This is beautiful, FInn, and gives me the idea to photograph my mother's house in similar ways--the utensil drawer, sewing supplies, etc.
Thanks!

I love the spools photo. Reminds me... My grandma had a shelf built by my granpa where the beams that held the shelves were stacks of her empty spools...

Thank you! Thank you! What a nice gift of letting us copy your marvelous pic. I'm going to make an enlarged copy to frame for my sewing room. Every time I look at it, I'll think of you.VBS

Finn, thanks so much for "sharing" your beautiful spools picture! It will certainly perk up a gloomy day.
Love your kitty, Ebony. We used to have a black dog named Ebony, Ebby for short. Jasper and Annie are my cats and they send their hellos to Ebby.

How nice of you to share!!! Like I didn't already know you are the nicest lady....=) Just coming by to say hello. I'm busier than a one-armed paper hanger. I've just gotten a spinning wheel and am loving it, despite the frustrations of being a new spinner. And, I'm making some jewelry right now, and we set up my stained glass work table outside this morning..plus, plus..grin.

Seriously, someone needs to take that picture and make a jigsaw puzzle out of it! (Finn, you could get royalties!!)
