I added some very random borders to the little pink one, and cut a backing and batt for it. Since the blocks I received were heavily starched, I decided to machine quilt that one. Having done that, I pulled out a little pile of 'stuff' and created another little quilt...
using just what was in the pile and a few strips from the 1.5" bin(which I had out to use for borders on the pink one)I added spacers where needed. It seemed pretty wild, color wise, but a choice of pale yellow for borders calmed it down completely. Got a backing and batt cut for it, and today I am hand quilting it with perle cotton. What fun!! Totally no purpose to any of it...LOL

Finn, both of your Halloween quilts are so pretty - I just love the scrappy one. Your doll quilt is looking wonderful as well. I might just have to change direction on one of mine to make that one. We'll have to see what shape I can turn my scraps into.
Wow, what bright, fun, little treasures. I imagine if you lightly spray the starched blocks with water, the starch will dissipate.
Oh good it made it !!!! Oh I think that one thing you can use at the store too not just online lol...
hurray! always nice to know something arrived :-) I was a very busy mailing woman early this week. finally visiting and catching up- love these small quilts you are having such fun with! no, no, I am sticking to my plan-though your fun is so tempting to join in on.
Oh the second little quilt is gorgeous. What a great mixture of colours and fun! Gone off red and white for the moment. Wonder why .......... LOL.
Cher's block is lovely.
the blocks are just darling...and so are you!
Oh, I really like that pink one.
Such fun - love the 'random' borders. That's what makes quilting such fun for me . . . then unexpected surprises.
Can't wait to see your prizes *s*
What great little quilts!!!
These are darling little "gotta makes," Finn! So cheery!
And I LOVE your new profile pic!!!
What lovely blocks and doll quilts! Such fun to play rather than clean and organize. But, sigh, that's what I've been doing. I HAVE to get back to my machine and soon!
What fun little quilts!
