The Number One Reason....

I make quilts *VBS*Remember this one? In the frame in the garage in October? A rainy day weekend's tying effort??
Here is where it went...
And even one picture would be worth a thousand words, right? This little gal is a sophomore at U of M(Minnesota-St. Paul campus). I had made her baby quilt 19 years ago...I think I showed you the shreds that are left of it, last May when she graduated. She was the first of my DD#1's friends to receive a baby quilt from me...seems to make her special, I think *VBS* I love a happy ending!

She is absolutely adorable and wrapping up in that quilt pretty much says it all. Now, I know that pattern as "Party Hats" though I'm sure like most patterns it has a million names. But for these photos it sure seems to fit! She's having one fine party with one very, very pretty quilt!

Smiles all the way around. I even think the quilt is smiling.

What a great bunch of photos. She looks so happy with her quilt and that's what making quilts is all about - making someone smile.

Are those Packers fans in the other photos? If so, go Packers!

Now we know why we do what we do. Photos like that gives one a warm glow and chase the winter blues away. What a gorgeous gorgeous smile.

Oh...those smiles and excitement are priceless reminders, aren't they! What a great young lady!!! I guess perhaps we need to stop and think just how much one gift can affect a whole life! ;-)

Hugs to you!

State unit inspection? Boy, but I'd hate that... geesh! How often do you have to put up with inspections?

Seeing that last picture makes every minute spent on this quilt worthwhile. Seeing our quilts appreciated like this is what so many of us live for. She's a lovely young lady - with a perfect new quilt!
