Happy December 1st.....*VBS*

I'm popping in ahead of the big snow storm to say "Good Morning Blogland" and a very Happy December to you *VBS*The wreath is up and the door is unlatched...please do come for a cup of Christmas Tea *VBS* This is all the decorating I will do for awhile, but I iike to kick the month off on the 'right' foot!
Season's Greeting to All! Almost all of the flat Santas went out in yesterdays mail. It's taken a bit longer as I've actually had to make additional 'flat' santas....LOL, but I was happy to do that. We, here in the midwest are under a snow storm, freezing rain watch...it's arrival time is predicted for about noon today. I took time to put the last of the summer things and lawn chairs away yesterday. That meant doing some re-arranging in the garage...all I can say is BRRRRRR...why did I wait this long??? Yes, Marcie...my Weather Pixie did say 16 degrees yesterday...that was our HIGH! It began at only 5 degrees at 7 a.m.
Today is slightly warmer...21 degrees at last look...it has to warm up to snow I guess.
I got my first christmas card and a lovely little gift yesterday from Julie Q...*VBS* I'll show you tomorrow....thanks Julie..I love everything!!!! I forgot to sign the flat santa for you, so look for an additional little package coming your way *S* Off I go to stuff the last of the santas into the envelopes...be back soon!

Happy Holidays to you dear Finn! We're in the 30's and holding, here in Oregon. At first they predicted a big storm, now...who knows. Weathermen are like quilting women...we're allowed to rearrange things as the wind blows. I put up our beloved Advent calendar today and I'm starting to feel it. Here comes my music and a garland or two ;) Hugs to you and Ebby. Stay warm and listen to my music across the miles :)

Nice to "hear" about the snow. I even like to see the pics. I think I better quit complaining about the hot weather here in FL. It is funny because usually we are affected by the cold from the North but are currently getting a southern wind to keep us hot. Nice to have had those extra days between Thanksgiving and the beginning of December this year but they are gone now. You and Ebbie have a happy December, too. Is your soup pot on?

Thank you Finn, and I hope you like your gift. I know I will love my Santa...I have not decorated a thing, so you are ahead of me. But maybe today!!! I am off today from work. Hope you have a good day today.

I hate to sound stupid, but what does VBS stand for? The only VBS I have heard of is for Vacation Bible School. Sorry for being so dense!! Enjoy reading your blog!

well, doesn't that look cheering and inviting? Wish I could actually stop by and enjoy that cup of tea Finn! Who knows? maybe one day that knock will be me..in the meanwhile-happy December to you! love the previous toddler/quilt photo! simple quilts are great- it is my opinion that stitch in the ditch is supposed to be next to...and not in that seam line..so as long as it is near..it works! big hugs

Beautiful wreath, Finn. I'll have one on my door soon, too. I'm not much into the decorating - I hate winter remember? My toes are already frozen even with three pairs of wool socks. I might break down and buy some Uggs this year. Wish I could hybernate like a bear and come out in April :) Glad November has passed for you and here's to brighter days ahead!

It looks like ol' man winter has hit your area hard. What a perfect time to stay inside and bake cookies!
