And so we have 'summertime' pictures, from a post I did last summer about a "place of ones own". The chair in the corner of the little patio is a favorite spot of mine...summer morning or evening, it's a lovely place to sit.
Flowers in bloom, and lots of green grass, Ebony and I can hardly wait for that time to be here again. Her cabin fever moods are getting more frequent, but she finds the air outside the door a bit too chilly for her!My computer seems to be as good as new, and running in tip top shape. The hard drive has been re-formatted, and a new security system(monitored by the phone company) installed and working. My tech guy has ordered additonal memory for this slightly older gal of mine, and with it added we'll max out what it can hold. I should be good to go for a very long time, since I've been running on 128M and we are adding 2(two) 516M memory units. Now I can have all the pictures I want!!!
The crash I had,on Friday, was related to downloading an updated version of the Norton Security system, and luckily I had backed things up before beginning the process. The computer would NOT let me in beyond the start up page, but it couldn't stop the tech....LOL. Thank goodness for compter geek tech guys!!
I've done some sewing and quite a bit of cleaning and organizing during my computers absence. But I sure was happy to have it come home last evening. All's well that ends well...right?

Did you feel like you were cut off from the world when your computer was "broken". I know I did...never would have thought I would have become that addicted to web world.
Enjoyed the pictures - even if they were from last summer....makes me want that time of year to hurry up and come again.

I did think about all the things I could accomplish if the computer wasn't close at hand........and decided NOT to temp fate. It would be like cutting off one of my hands!

So glad to know that you survived the 'crash' *s* You've been missed. It's easy to see from your photo selection that you are ready for a change of season . . . it's almost here. I spotted my first rose bud today. Also it's the day that the swallows return (only I don't think they really do any more - to go somewhere nearby that's less congested)

Hey Finn - glad you're back. I wish I were a computer geek (car mechanic, home repair specialist to name a few more things). Wouldn't life be so much simpler if we just knew how to do these things? Oh the joys of modern technology.
I downloaded Norton Antivirus this week and have been having computer problems ever since. What's up with that?
