We could still have a party - maybe make snow angels and throw snowballs. Then eat and eat (of course no party is complete without food). Also something to drink (no alcholoic beverages though).

Warm sunshiny weather is not far off.

Yep - a cold wind has blown my way, too . . . it's a nice sweatshirt kind of day *s* I'm okay with it. I don't relish the idea of the heat wave that is surely in my August future *s*

Ah, heck! You mean it's not Spring yet? And I already had my sandals on!

Oh, well, thanks for the nice thought. It was a good idea, but I guess the weather has the joke on us, right?

at first i was envious of all the green and flowers and then i scrolled down and saw "reality". mark had to use the snow blower first thing when he got home cause he couldnt even get the car in the driveway. we got over 10". i had to wait for mark to clear a path so i could climb down the porch and get a shovel to shovel off the porch and steps. havent left the house for two days...but have been sewing up a storm :-)

Well, just move that party to my house. It was 82 degrees here today. I have tiny tomatoes, summer squash and lots of blooms on the rose bushes. Amelia likes milk and cookies but I can make some tea too. I do so want to wear a big brim hat again. I think it has been 45 years since I wore a fancy hat.

Sorry, but this is the time of year when AZ people gloat. We get our punishment for that in July.

This message comes to you from the strange and very warm winter we have had in NY. Yesterday it was 65(sorry) but you'll be happy to note that today it's around 45. I am sprucing up the deck and getting ready-come on over here for a while. We'll(as they say in NY) do lunch! Bring your friends! I should be careful tough-I remember an April 4th blizzard of 14 inches. The great thing about snowstorms in April-they're melted in a week.

I've mixed up a batch of brown sugar bar cookies and will be sure to bring them along with my broad brimmed hat. I don't have a party frock, but I'll wear my best apron.

Do you want to come over for a sewing session on the terrace? Tue sun is out, everyone is mowing their lawns and I need a companion to sew in the sun with.

Funny! Here in SC we have had a pretty mild winter, longing to see a nice snowfall of 6 inches or so, but none to talk about this year. But oh, it has been bad for you folks up north. Have hope, Spring is just around the corner.

That was a cute post! You had me going... We've had the same kind of "spring" here too. I'm so ready for some sunshine and warmer temps! Thanks for the laugh...
