Sunday sunshine.....

and warmer temps, at last! A beautiful beginning on the first day of June *VBS* And a new picture to share. My youngest grandson,#10, was 3 months old on the 20th of May. The smile seems a permenant fixture on his face these days, and I love the coos and goos you get when you talk to him *VBS* They stopped in on Memorial Day weekend for a short visit.
Now then, about my question and puzzle....almost all of you were right or so very close *VBS* Hard to declare a winner!! Gypsy Quilter used 'literally' everything laying around, broken dishes blocks, HST blocks, etc, in between her setting squares. I decided to keep my quilt to just 4 patches, and that they all would be sets of 2 2.5" squares. They would all run one direction next to the 4.5" setting squares. In effect, I made mine NOT a Kitchen Sink, since I didn't use "everything"...LOL I'm calling mine "In 4-4 Time". It really is a great way to use odds and ends, and ugly stuff! As I sew, I'm amazed at how MUCH ugly I put into this one!

I'm dancing to the 4x4 time and the baby is laughing at me. Nice thought!

What a cutie your grandson is and I'm glad you get to see him now and then. I really like your In 4-4 Time quilt. It's still raining here in Oregon. Hope summer comes more quickly for you :)

you must have squeezed all the "uglies" out of those patches you showed us, cuz it looks pretty good to me!

What a great grin. I see a future quilt enthusiast in the making. You're doing great no matter whatcha call it. Just have fun and usem' up! All colors blend in a kitchen sink or variation thereof. That's the beauty of it!
