Granny Finn is so very happy and proud to tell you "It's a girl"!!!! My first(born to my family)granddaughter *VBS*Hailey Marie arrived by appointment this morning. She tips the scale at 9# 5 oz and is 21" long. Lots of dark brown hair. Mom and babe are both doing well. She will be welcomed by brothers Christopher, Quenten,J.J,Zander and sister(by marriage) Kala. Her future fan club will include cousins Nick, Brady,Tanner, Dominic, Nathaniel and Levi.Her only girl cousin(by marriage)Alisen will also be thrilled to have another girl in the family I'm hoping for a picture by tomorrow. Color me "tickled pink"!

Gosh - haven't you had to wait a while for one of the pink flavour - I'm sure she'll be well worth waiting for - I love my boy to bits but little girls just have that little something about them :o) Not sure about the pink though, with all those boys she may well turn out to be a real tomboy!

Oh this is terrific news, Finn! Congratulations to you and this little one's extended family. After a run of grandboys it is about time for a grandgirl. Percentages might say that you might have had one by now but no matter, she's here!

Pink quilts, pink burp cloths, pink, pink.............Of course when she gets old enough she will probably want blue, just cause all her boy brothers and cousins have blue......What's a grandmother to do???? oh, you will find out, now, that girls taste just a tad sweeter than boys...boys have the toady/dirt taste, and girls have a kitty/cotton-candy flavor. They are both yummy, tho.
