Another rainy Monday.....

and I'm working at not letting it get me down! It's going to be another busy week here, with several dr. appointments to complete. I had my annual physical last week on my birthday of all days!! Glad to have that behind me. Here is my second Q4L and this one is going to Casey in New York state as soon as I have an address for him. If it looks quite abit like the first one I did, you are right! It's the same block, a few different fabrics, and a different fabric for lattice and borders.
This is the flannel I found to use for the backing. LIttle bears dressed like mailmen with flags and such. Yes, it does reflect the colors of the front. Red, white and blue for America.
And a quick peek at some of my last weeks playtime. I had no time for play this weekend, I needed to finish Casey's quilt, and I did, about 9 last evening. The thing that takes so very long is my limited vision. It's gotten quite challenging lately. It doesn't bother me all that much, I suppose I've grown used to it, EXCEPT when I am working on a quilt for someone else. That's when the frustration level rises to dangerous heights...LOL. There are quite a few things in Casey's quilt that I wish were done better, but I suspect that being 2, he won't notice them all that much.
As I've said before, I'm a diehard Project Runway fan. The finale is coming up this week, on Wednesday, and will I miss the last presidential debate to watch it? You bet!! I've noticed lately that they keep saying the "finale" to 5 seasons of Project Runway. Does that that Bravo is dropping the show??? Does anyone know??

*ooooohhhh* I'm practically counting the hours til the PR final! They are just ending their run on Bravo! and moving to the Lifetime Network . . . well if all the lawsuits allow that to happen. Who are you routing for to win?

A lovely quilt for Casey! 8-)
Your playtime quilt is wild! Love it!
Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your vision. Is there something that can be done to correct that for you?
Don't watch Project Runway, so can't help you there...
Happy stitchings Finn! 8-)

I love that show "SEW" much, I hope it will not be gone! I posted a picture of project #2 done!! So, only two more to go!! I also know what you mean about the eyes, several years ago I had eye surgery and I was the one in a million that lost part of my vision, I get so worried when I make something for someone else, but my DH keeps telling me who would not want a quilt made with love, so what if a seam here or there does not match, they are so happy to have something from you, so I just keep on going! Love your quilt!!

I love PR too but it's shown here in Canada a bit delayed. Last night's episode was when Kevin left after the Saturn car challenge. I adore Heidi(& her hubby Seal & his music) and Tim as well as Nina Garcia and Michael Kors.
I love the quilt for Casey, very nice! Don't be too hard on yourself Finn, you got the quilt done before the deadline.

So did your choice of designer on PR win? I'd heard that Runway would be moving to the Lifetime network; I didn't know about any lawsuits - ack! Sure hope it gets moved without losing any of the stuff we love so much!
