Counting the beans....*VBS*

or something like that. Ours wasn't a guessing game, but a-ccounting I do.You have all waited long enough for our grand total....Can you hear those trumpets in the background?? We're quite remarkable! The grand total of FINISHED UFOs from this challenge is 256 !! 72 signed up to stitch along, and as the sidebar shows, not everyone reported their finishes, but that's neither here nor there. This challenge was for FUN and the satifaction of having some older projects done.
It's thrilling to me that there are 15+ LESS projects accusing me of not finishing them! And all around the world last night, as the clocks chimed and the fireworks flew, 256 empty project containers were celebrated!! We are really quite remarkable, each and everyone of us. Every finish is a victory, thank all of you for joining me in this undertaking, and Happy Stitching in 2009!! Hugs, Finn

That is awesome! Having my name on your sidebar with that goal DID motivate me. Now I'm challenging myself with a few more finishes.

Thanks for the support. :)

You can add 2 more to that grand total. I guess I wasn't specific in my comment. I finished the 3 I committed to plus 1 extra for a total of 4. :D And it was a great motivator having that committment posted on your sidebar.

Congratulations to all the winners out there--and if you only finished one project, you're a winner, because done beats none!

Nice job, ladies!

It was so much fun stiching along side you in 'cyber-space' and that challenge really inspired me to finish off those projects! I was really, really happy when I could report back to you that I had finished my final quilt!
Thank you!

Thanks Finn, I so enjoyed being motivated...and I actually have almost completed 2 more, one needs binding...and the other I have to find the finished blocks, now that I found the sashing fabric??? I am still motivated. Going to keep better track of the UFO's hovering. For every new one I start... hoping to complete 1 + UFO, maybe that will make a dent!

Hi Finn,
A delight as always to visit your site. Happy New Year--I love the brown blocks on this post, something that may just show up on my blog in this year.

Congratulations on inspiring so many to finish all those UFOs! Very impressive! Just think of all the finished projects that are now being enjoyed by so many rather than languishing in the dark corners of quilting/sewing studios everywhere! Happy New Year Finn!
