Mother Nature is playin games with us here in the midwest. Nothing like going from a minus 30 degrees windchill to 67 degrees in one week. Guess I'd better not complain, it can do that in one day, actually! This was my landscape last Thurday.
And here we are today, St. Patrick's Day, with two days of 60+ degrees behind us. Now we need some rain to clean things up! Jean and I went road tripping yesterday and did some serious stash inhancement. More about that tomorrow.
I've finished all the blocks for this particular string quilt, and today I'm joining up the blocks...woooohooo!
And last, but not least, a lovely blog give-away present from Dionne. It was a very short time frame offering, and I waS lucky enough to have read her blog that day. The gifts are from her trip to Hawaii. Thank you Dionne, I love the fabric, the keychain and the shell necklace. Now where did I put my muu-muu??? *VBS* Happy St. Paddy's Day to all you Irish and those who are Irish for a day *VBS*.

What pretty fabric and your string quilt is amazing. Our weather is finally warming up too.
What a treat -- double dippng... warm days and fabric shopping.. tough to beat it!!! Looks like Spring is just around the corner in our neck of the woods---Looks like we made it!!!!
Finn, my dear lady that string quilt is so pretty. The jewel tones just seem to pop out more with the contrasting light colors...and turned on point adds to the beauty.
Been working some in the yard today...weather is in the 80's here in central Oklahoma with a wind of 13-15 MPH. This certainly makes for enjoying the outdoors.
May all your blessings be bountiful!
The blocks are beautiful.
Best regards,
Darilyn
