Crossing the T's and Dotting the I's...

I'm tardy, as usual. Here is some general information about the New Years Eve UFO Challenge. Anyone can join and play along. The purpose to clear the decks of a few more unfinished projects before we begin 2010! Each quilter(or cross-stitcher) selects how many projects she wishes to finish between now and New Years Eve. Drop me a line or leave me a comment and I'll add you to the list on the sidebar.
There are no prizes(except the obvious satification) and no quilt police will check up on you. When you have a finish and let me know about it, I'll mark it off beside your name. Post about it on your blog, or not, which ever works for you. The project can be any size and in at any stage of complete-ness. They don't have to be specifically quilting projects. It helps alot if we visit each other to cheer each other on to victory. If you have question, pleaase ask and I'll try to answer them. Happy Stitching everyone!!

Oh, I did this last year too. I pledged 8 and I finished 8. Let's see if I can do that again this year

Finn, thanks for this year's UFO challenge ...I did it last year and it really worked well for me. I'll have to think about what I can "pledge" this year.

Love the blocks...that's one of my favorite patterns.

Ok Finn, considering that I had just made up a (too long) list of quilt "To Dos" a few days before reading your post (mostly because I've done almost nothing since the beginning of the month), I am really glad to see this.

This is like Jacqui's "Spring to Finish Challenge" and participating in that helped me get two projects done (and quite a few more started) so I'm up for this new challenge.

I'm calling for seven(!) projects by the end of the year. I think we can all do it!

I guess I have to do it! I'm going to say 4 projects... some minis will most likely be involved though!

If it's not too late, I'd like to join in. I've got 2 quilts that I need to have done by Christmas, and I need some motivation to get them going. I'm going to say 3 projects for my goal, so hopefully I'll have one I can keep for myself. VBS

Thanks for responding, even though you had to work at doing it! You've probably figured out that I'm a relatively new blogger, so some of the obvious stuff I have yet to get straight. My email should be attached to this post. I do have a few UFO's that I'm planning to finish, so why not do them with like-minded folks?

Hi Finn,
What a timely activity! I'll say four (knowing that one only needs a label!). One includes a lot of applique, which I am No Good At, so a push to keep at it will do me good.

Thanks for doing this!

Hi Finnh: Just came across your challenge this morning and would like to join in - some on my list are just a gleam in my mind's eye, but I have a definite start on: 1)red, beige and brown utility brick paving quilt, 2) sweet baby four patch, 3) dancing stars in christmas colours and an amush style jewel tone strippy - maybe I'll get them all done - along with a reversible circular winter tabletopper - did I just commit to 5 - oh dear!!!
