mine will be among them...we stood up and challenged ourselves and we did good!! But that deserves a seperate post. This is my finish #4. It's a Love Ya! strippy made from a jellyroll that my sweet friend Julie Q send me last Valentines Day. Jellyrolls seem to work well with the strippy method.
This is the backing flannel I chose. Betsy and I bought the bolt with a 60% off one "on bolt" item at Mill Ends. It's full price was $4.99 a yd. We got it for less than $2.50. We split the yardage.
And this little doll quilt, a Fence Rail, is my 5th finish. I know, it sure doesn't measure up against the BIG finishes of others, but I'll take it and be happy!!
This is the backing flannel, a charming scrap sent by Granny Lyn. Thank you Lyn, everyone loves the litte "Love Bug Herbie" cars *VBS* And now, onward to our grand total finishes!

Your "It's a Love Ya" is outstanding, Finn. Love the diagonal piecing for the strips, too. I want to try that sometime! And the backing price was fabulous. Two smart women..love ya! Baby doll quilt...makes me wish I wasn't heading off to an island in Alaska and doing what I do! Too many wishes in my well!
Oh, speaking of wishes and wells...did you finish my white, padded, ties nicely in lots of places, jacket yet?
Or are you saving it for when I get back from Alaska and finish my newest challenge...come over and see what this crazy woman is up to now!
I love the first quilt. The colors are brilliant. Wonderful job friend.
oh so fabulous!!!!! I am impressed!!! What awesome quilts!!! yeah Finn!!!!!
Congrats on two more finishes! Love the jelly roll quilt.
That pink and brown beauty is certainly an eye catching one.
A great strippy quilt Finn, and adorable fence rail... A finish is a finish in my book, no matter how big or how small! 8-)
PS: no offense intended, but I don't get into all that "facebook stuff".. I spend enough time on the comp...8-)
Hey, a finish is a finsih, no matter what size it is! Kudos to you and all your playmates for doing such a good job getting those UFO's out of the way.
That was some score on the bolt of flannel fabric!
Love what you did with the Jelly Roll! Another idea for me to try, too. I am so glad it was put to great use!
What a fun backing you have for this quilt. I hope to quilt my strips quilt soon.
Love the "Love Ya"!!!!
Oh, I am honored and humbled to see my flannel in one of your quilts! that poor scrap stayed lonely since the 70's just to land in your wonderful quilt...yay!! she found a good home.
Happy New Year Finn. I love the scrappy Jelly Roll quilt you created.
Happy New Year Finn. It's good to see so many lovely finished quilts.
