I got nothin'......

Adding a bit of color to an all white landscape helps. But any interest in sewing, whether new or old, still lags.
There is a baby quilt I need to get busy and finish, but haven't found even the smallest bit of 'get-up-and-go' with which to complete it.
All of the forms are here, and income tax time looms on the horizon, but I still have time...right? *VBS*

Grandbabies turning from 0 to 1 next week, Baby A has been with us a year already. And Baby L, who will be a big brother in May, is going to be 2 the following week. Time....yup, I still have enough of that. Enjoy the colors of the day, I'll be back with something quilt related sooner or later...LOL. I'm just waiting for inspiration to strike.

Sorry you are still uninspired, Finn.

I'm running out of steam myself, but have started a new regime of better nutrition and exercise for Diabetes Type II. I hope to gain energy as well as lose weight!

Today I tried making breadsticks with my "5 Minute a Day" saved bread dough, and then of course I had to try them out. . .so maybe I'm NOT doing so well on a new eating plan.

Best wishes to you as the winter continues, Sara

Ahhhh such bright, cheery pictures - just what we need *s*
Good to see your post - no one likes it when you are gone too long.

I have a box of orphan blocks I've been saving for you. Would that help with some inspiration?

Finn, sorry to hear your quilting get up and go has taken a unplanned break! Must be the winter doldrums--but I love the bright colors in your pics today. Very Big Smiles and hugs to you today, friend.

Love the last photo. That's what you need - sun and warmth. Me too!

Is it me or has this winter gone on a lot longer than usual.

Keep warm and safe.

Hugs

You and me both!!
It seems a long time since I have done any stitching or cutting. I have just been coping with mountains and rapids....

You don't sound motivated, what are you up to during this long cold winter. I am getting tired of this cold weather. We usually have some really nice days in January but not this year.

I am pinning curves to arcs..baby steps-time away from quilting can be a needed break and inspiration will come whenever...I say enjoy going with the flow and rest for as long as you need to.

I hope you get your quilt mojo back soon because I miss the photos of those darling scrap quilts you always come up with. Hope you are feeling well. Maybe it is the winter doldrums.

I'm having the same problem, so I took up knitting :) I spend way too much time on Facebook, Farmville and fish tanks. Karen

I was having that same unmotivated time, too. From mid-Dec until toward the end of January, nothing was really interesing me. But I began collecting new fabric (no plan) and quilting on a class project and by the time the project was done, the creative juice was starting to flow. Now,once again, I have too many projects I want to do. I think I like it this way best.

I've missed your posts full of scrappy quilt inspiration. But the cheery pics do warm us on a dreary day. Winter can't end soon enough for me.

Winter will do that to you. Especially in your part of the country! Maybe it's time to do something altogether different as someone else suggested. I've found that helpful in the past. Here's wishing you newfound joy very soon. :- )

Great photos Finn!

Lots of babies in your family there, and more coming! How wonderful!

Now, you might find your "get up and go" or "mojo" if you do less on FB... Just a tease here for you... lol!

Hope you find what you are looking for to get you stitching again soon!

Nice colorful photos, Finn. We don't have all your snow, but your colors did perk up our grey. Take care, and stay warm! Hope you'll soon get your stitching mojo back.

you probably need to come to this side of the state and have some fresh banana bread and coffee with me, we can eat it in my sewing room and you can play in my stash. how about that?
and I LOVE the yellow shoes!!!

I think I have been in a bit of a slump....too cold, not enough time, my hands ache. So I can identify, but I did finish two bed sized UFO's...posted them on the blog in last two posts. Just so's you know.... I am slowly keeping up with the UFO challenge. My goal was one UFO a month...and I am on target...maybe one or two ahead...I just forget. Sorry your MoJO has left you...sure if will be back soon. Love the wood bowl the apples were in.

Love the colors of your post, Finn! I reorganized the blog so I can keep up better. I am just plugging along on the latest project, so I don't have much to show either.
