and sitting pretty, as the saying goes *VBS* Feeling much better today, still some arm stiffness, but so much better.
Best of all is that I can report and add UFO #3 (which is my 2nd finish!) to my NYE UFO Challenge list! It took all of my 'stick-to-it', but I finished up the binding around 9 last evening...and was glad to be done! Here's a peek at one corner and part of the backing. Four chunks of flannel got used to make the backing, and I'm glad it's gone! It's been in my flannel stash way too long!
Another look at most of the width and the other end of the backing. This one is a Christmas gift(family member) and is about 60" X 80". A little big for a snuggle quilt, but there is plenty to tuck under. I'm back to machine quilting another that I pinned on Monday or Tuesday, again, a smaller one. Looks like I'm leaving those two big ones for last.
The challenge is going well, with lots of you reporting finishes!! It's awesome to think about how many UFOs we could finish up in such a brief period of time. If you haven't noticed we got a new player yesterday *VBS* Yup, Sue, From the Magpie's Nest, decided she could finish a couple of things on her list, and jumped in with a goal of 4. There are 5 weeks plus left in the challenge, I'm sure we can all meet our goals and start next year with less baggage!

Great job--and these quilts are so cozy--just the thing for cold weather!
Great job Finn. Love the looks of that quilt. Hugs.
Good for you, Finn and welcome to Sue! That's an awesome lady to add to our fun!!!
Come on the rest of you...join in!... even with 1 thing to finish before N.Y.Eve! If we all can do this...so can you! Heck, I've been challenged a lot, now I challenge all of you, back! Just one thing???
So glad you are feeling better! You are doing great on the UFOs. Keep on stitching.
I love it Finn..well done!! I'm sure your family member will love to snuggle under it!!
I like your use for leftover binding pieces. May use that myself. I keep putting them away in a shoe box, thinking I'll use them to bind a quilt, but very rarely put them to use that way.
I could do with a quilt like that here. Brrr and wet! Sorry to read about your flu jab. Sometimes they're fine and sometimes they're not.
That quilt is awesome! It looks so snuggly and cozy I want to curl up in it right now. :) Love the the colors. I'm so glad you're feeling better!
It's quite delightful! Good job!
Hope you are all better, better, better! I love this quilt...I need to make one for sure. I am working on finishes...not yet though!
I knew it! As soon as I commit myself to the UFO challenge I find myself with a new project! Well, if you can do it so can I :- )
This is awesome ... and I love a big quilt to snuggle into.
I have my first finish so that you can add that one to my name!! :o)
