I am totally confused!!

Even more than usual!! Apparently I am going to have to figure out how to publish pics with Picasa all over again...drat!! I've posted these through Blogger, hoping for the best.... First pic(I think) is an across the street shot, looking towards downtown.
Second one is an across the street of my new home. As I said, it's an old grocery store. Many of the older business here were built with this "shotgun" approach. The lots are deep, but narrow. The big windows downstairs are my front room, and obviously, that front door opens right onto Main St. I use the side door on the right side of the building primarily. Friend Jean lives upstairs, and we are connected by an inside back stairway in her laundry room. I never get wet on rainy days *VBS*

Here's a snap of my stash slowly being put into a walk in closet in the small 2nd bedroom. It's now my sewing room. I show it when its a bit more organized. Small room, too much STUFF!

And here's the view for April, looking south out my side door. In the last picture of it, there was snow, snow, snow. That's been gone for several weeks now, and I have tulips and daffodils blooming in the other side yard.

Glad you are getting all settled in. Looks like your stash is looking happy and organized. Hope you are back to sewing soon enough.

Nice to hear that you've settled in, Finn. That you've hung your first quilt, and that Ebby made herself a nice, little nest!
Changes are always challenging but I know you've been through so many before and will do your best with them. I'm glad you have Jean, and Miss Ebby...and know that your inner strength and that your love of the scrappiness of life will help you ease back into small town life. I'm sure you remember how many of little towns with cute little old buildings we have in Oregon! And hopefully you are in a better place now, and with family, then you were back in those days!

Nice looking place--and right on the edge of all the action :)

At least you have some trees out the side door. That view across the street is pretty sterile. :P
Can you put some planters around outside to color the place up a bit?

I'm having to relearn how to do things in Blogger too. Not so much fun.

Wow! You really do live "downtown". What fun. When I was young, we lived downtown in a little town in Arizona. Oh what memories! I am in the same situation with too much stash for the space!

What a cute place! I think you should hang a quilt in one of those windows--your OWN Main Street display! Bet you could even have a small garden in that side lot--looks as if it gets lots of sun.
