For Tonya...
Thinking of you
and hoping you'll
soon be back
with us.
"It was not a woman's desire to be forgotten. And in one simple, unpretenious way, she created a medium that would outlive even many of her husband's houses, barns and fences; she signed her name in friendship onto cloth and, in her own way, cried out...Remember Me" Linda Otto Lipsett, Remember Me (Machine pieced, hand quilted with clamshell pattern,1" finished logs)

Finn, I've been thinking of Tonya SO MUCH these past couple weeks. I truly hope things are going well with her and am so anxious to have her back amongst us.
(((HUGS))) for Tonya!!
Here's some ((HUGS)) for you too, Finn! :o)
love your picture and really enjoying the quilts.. you are one talented lady. William loved "Education of Little Tree" and now wants to see the movie. (guess I will rent it again) I get the book back and will finish it this weekend. He finished it right away when he went out he just hasn't been back home to give it back!
That is beautiful!! and...the sentiment is so poignant. Is 'Remember Me' a book?
What a cute little quilt!
And I am missing Tonya so much too! I sure hope she is ok - I"ve been so worried.
And can you believe I had emergency dental work Thurs night. I was on major pain killers Friday which is why I was "away" for a couple of days.
Finn and company,
thanks for thinking of me. good thoughts always help. That's a quote I like too. "Remember Me" was indeed a book, written by Linda Lipsett and published many many years ago by the Quilt Digest Press.
