Still cold in WI, with a few snow flurries this morning. The tree skirt was finished, and ready to go. My #1 DD loves it..she was totally surprised as she thought it was going to be a whole cloth tree skirt, quick and easy. I didn't add lace, I'm not much of a "lace" person, but offered to add it post Christmas if she wants it. Seems she and the DH like it just the way it is. So at this point, seems like a slam dunk and I'm home free..*VBG* But just so you know what happens when you fulfill one request....ya....I'm now signed up for a baby quilt that is needed in January, and oh yes, could it be "stars" please. And then two graduation snuggle quilts for her goddaughters. Both are college bound and didn't get baby quilts from her..so she feels guilty...LOL..see why my UFO's don't get finished..? *G* Posted by Picasa

Yes, now I see why you are sewing all the time. I would be blind as a bat doing all that!

YES! That deserves a big, high jumping, high fiving/tenning...thing...that athletes are doing these days!

You will have more orphans to play with soon, perhaps?!

Well, the list goes on and on... I know just how you feel. I guess it keeps us from wondering, "hmmm... what SHALL I do today?" You did a great job on the tree skirt! And of course, she was thrilled with it!

I see the tree skirt is already being put to good use :) It turned out great (I vote no lace too). Glad you got to spend time with your daughter and your fun cardtrick quilt, but sorry it's so cold there. brrrrr.
