And the close up. I think I was(???)*VBG* a quiltin' fool back then....interesting what lies deep in the heart of a quilter. And who is she, really? And why does she quilt? And why would anyone put this much effort into a small quilt, especially one that isn't for anyone in particular? Posted by Picasa

Because you LOVE it :-) And the quilting will never go out of date - it's perfect for that little quilt. I love the clamshells!

Because the enjoyment is in the doing! When I hand quilt, I lose all track of time and self, my mind wanders in lots of directions, I listen to music and lose myself in the process. There are no clocks, no stress, no deadlines - it is relaxation pure and simple.

Love the quilting on this, lots of love went into it, you can tell. When I am sewing or crocheting or quilting, my husband says 'you could just go by one already made and save all that trouble'. But the 'trouble' is the best part!
