I'm back from my road trip yesterday to southern WI. Had a chance to ride along and see DS#2 and a couple of his boys. Weather was great and I had a really nice time..*VBS* I usually have a small stack of baby quilts, pieced, but tied, on hand. This single Irish Chain is one of those, made entirely from scraps of other projects. This little rosebud sweetie is the daughter of the gal who babysits my grandsons. Pretty far reach I know, but with 9 grandsons, I have to cuddle baby girls where ever I can. She's 6 months old and believe it or not, she didn't have a single baby quilt...now she does..*VBS* Posted by Picasa

No! A baby with no quilt! :) Aren't you a sweetie to give her one! She looks so cute all dressed in pink with her pink quilt.

Glad you fixed that gorgeous baby up with her very own quilt - every girl's gotta have one :-)

You saved her from certain emotional trauma -- a baby without a quilt who woulda thunk???

there is always a way to unite a pink quilt with a baby girl-good for you to find such a delightful baby girl to bestow a sweet pink quilt upon! Cher

Awwww....she's adorable! And look at that peach fuzz there on top of her head! I remember when my girls had that...and the smell of their little heads then. *sigh*
Thanks for helping the girl out with her quilt, Finn. Knew we could count on you. :o)

I love it! (I loved making a pink quilt for my cousins little girl, too.) The simplicity & scrappiness is GREAT! I need to keep that idea in my "file."

What thoughtful thing to do, Finn! The little girl looks like she was ready for a pink quilt, too! Pretty in PINK!

I think I need to start tying a few more of the baby quilts I made - that way I, too, can have more on hand!
