This is not a wonderful enough quilt to deserve two pictures, but Lucy requested a view of the WHOLE quilt..so here you are Lucy. The cross hatching is just over the 4 patches. Did an in the ditch around first border, nothing in the outer border. Maybe I should do some of Tonya's fans out there..*G* If the binding looks odd to you..it's one of those fabrics that begins with very light beige at one edge and grows darker as it goes across, ending with quite dark brown. The pic is against my mostly beige carpet...*VBG* Posted by Picasa

I like it. I really like the use of the varigated fabric for the binding. I thinke it adds to the uniqueness of the quilt. Thanks for sharing you talents with us.

I love using a variagated fabric for binding or borders. It somehow adds "depth" to the piece. It was a good way to use up those 4" squares instead of adding them to the stash...

I like this one, Finn. There's enough bright in it to read bright and sunny. Speaking of which -- I actually saw the sun today as it was setting -- there's hope yet!
