My friend Betsy, hard at work, helping me get this small quilt ready to be quilted. We've basted and quilted together for nearly 20 years now. It was wonderful to have the sun shining in on us today...bright and sunny but cold, here in WI. Posted by Picasa

Finn, not only is it wonderful to have the sun shining - it is wonderful to have a friend like Betsy!

These are wonderful. I can't imagine whipping a top together in a week and having it turn out like that :-)

Great basting frame Finn! I used to have one just like it. I made it from instructions in an old Lady's Circle Patchwork Quilt magazine - article by Gwen Marsden. Finally sold it last year to a friend when I got my longarm, as I can baste on that.
Love that old Alexander Henry fabric in the prior post - sure does make me think of Tonya!

What a wonderful setup for basting quilts! I love that you have a dear friend to do this with...you must rush to get quilt tops done so you can have this time together!
