Delectable Mountain....I had to pull my finished top from its hiding place and see. Yes, things like that eat away at my mind...LOL. This block is Delectable Mountain, and I did a whole quilt top of these. I looked in Quick and Easy Scrap Quilts(thanks Leah !! *VBS*) and the yesterdays quilt is very much Kansas Troubles. DM does have the 3 pairs of HST's that I remembered...and then that 4th triangle to make it fit to the bigger bottom triangle. Traditionally that 4th triangle is dark or medium, like the points above it. I deliverately made my 4th triangles light. Since I was going to alternater the way the block "points", I had a reason for doing that...*VBG*. See quilt top below.
