I guess it's anybodies what happens in cyber space. There aren't suppose to be two pictures here..I only clicked and uploaded one! My computer has slowed down in the past day to less than a snails pace, and Hello completely lost my morning posting...LOL.This is my 2nd Strip Twist quilt top this month. I had left over blocks from the first one, made a few more and got this one finished up today. Fairly bad storms again last night, and my part of WI woke up to 64 degrees this morning. It was in the high 80's just yesterday, it's an odd year for sure. I've been offline most of the day, running some virus scans, etc to see if that was the problem....apparently not...but it's still running very slow for DSL. Always something I guess.

Very nice Finn. Your DSL problem could be related to the weather. Keep showing us these great quilts.

Sorry I'm a computer incompetent myself - so can't offer you any help there. When you end up with two pics in a post (that happens to me sometimes too) use your left(?) mouse button to highlight one of the pics and then press Control and X at the same time - that's the "cut" function. I can always get rid of the dupe that way.

Quilt looks great.

You can also highlight the picture and press delete. If you have already posted it you can go to Blogger, hit Edit Post and change it there. I am not very computer literate but my kids make their livings on computers so I get a lot of help.
BTW the quilt looks great.

I don't mind looking at it twice, LOL. Looks great--and scrappy! A Finn quilt all the way. Better than fighting border wars.

Looks good...good enough to leave on there twice. I made a quilt like this...hmm...need to go find it (and finish it!)

gee..thanx

Maybe the duplicate is a Blogger problem. Happened to me the other day too. I don't mind looking at your photo twice though.

At first I thought to myself: "My goodness...my Finn has outdone herself once again. Two quilts...good heavens!" But then...reality...and you're having problems with the good ole 'puter. ;-)

None the less...*both* are terrific Finn!!! There's just no beating a great strippy scrappy quilt is there!

Blogger did that to me once and it demanded that there was only ONE picture there so everytime I tried to delete... they both went away! Don't worry about it, no biggie.

I lost a whole post the other day and was so irritated that I have now gotten in the habit of clicking and highlighting the whole post right before I publish, and then saving it to a word program. Just in case something happens I can go over and paste it again.

I'll ask my super computer geek sweetie if he has any tips or hints at why you might be running slow. There could be something stuck running in the background that is slowing you down. If he has any tips, I'll send them to you.

NOW....I'm not familiar with this pattern. Is it one of Bonnie's. I'd love to add it to my scrap patterns pile. Remember where you found it?

Don't ya just love blogger? I had a whole post show up 3 times last night! So I went back and deleted 2 of them.

I love your quilt. This is one of my must do patterns. I've been cutting strips for about a year as I've sorted out fabrics that I didn't like anymore and cut up my scrap boxes. Plus I cut a piece from each one I've given away so I have lots of variety to work with.

Hope your computer s feeling better -- it's soooo frustrating when they're acting up!!!

As usual, I LOVE the scrappy!!!! I've been doing "organized" stuff for the past few weeks, and I'm just itching to get back to the scrap tub :)

Well maybe cyberspace thought it was such a wonderful pic it should post it twice!

Scrappy quilts are the best - they always make me smile. You did a great job with this design.
Your computer is acting up and my phone has been dead for two days. We get so used to our conveniences and suffer so when they don't work. And then there is my friend Moe who is sewing on a treadle machine!

Looks good Finn!

Has it helped deplete your stash any? I keep thinking this one would look good in shades of blue with cream. When I made mine, I picked out the ugliest pile of FQ I had, and divided them into lighter and darker - but it still came out looking good.

Are these going to be WTIL quilts too?

I am in agreement- the strip twist comes out great! I have yet to fix my computer woes either Finn-so you have company on that. hugs!
