If and if and if...then you could end up here..S*. You could have depleted your scraps basket, made something useful and very individualistic. I know several gals who make these mile a minute tops, and no two look the same. It's not quite as fast as string quilts....well, give it a try, and see for yourself..*VBS* Posted by Picasa

I like it Finn. It looks like a great way to use up all those bright scraps and leftover blocks.

Wonderful, wonderful!! I've made tons of Mile a Minute afghans, but why do they call these MAM quilts? Afghans are called that because you make them in strips. Do you do the same with these?

Whatever you do, it's great! I like the scrapiness and that you used up all the strips and scraps!

Absolutely terrific - as far as I'm concerned you just can't be too scrappy and the brighter the better. Like a string quilt, your eye never rests in one place but roves around the quilt, always finding something new.

Aieee that's crazy for sure!! What are you planning to do with it Finn? It's so bright and colourful and with all the different blocks it would be something that kids would just love to pore over :)

What a wonderful, colorful, unique, quilt. It definitely makes me smile to see all those great colors, patterns, and blocks. It is truly an original. I'm the highly organized type, but I think I would like to give this a try. Thanks for the inspiration.

So very cool, Finn!

Is this another WTIL quilt? I really like all the fabrics jumbled together, and somehow, I like the fact that there's a traditional block here and there. :)
