Did you ever have one of THOSE days????????? Need I say more??? Ya......I'll be back later after my dr. appointment this morning. Keep your sunny side up.....*S*
You're a mess!!! I love the picture. That's a ham of a cat if I ever saw one... Good luck at the doctor. Stay Cool - It's suppose to hit 101 in th e U.P. today.
Yep, I am guessing that we all have one of those days where it just doesn't pay to get out of bed. Yesterday I started getting the dropsies and that never does bode well. I'll probably drop a jar of pickles on the floor at WInn Dixie at this rate or have another large can drop right on my foot.
The picture is too cute. Don't we all feel like that on some days? I have to agree with you that your library building looks much larger. In looking around the internet, I have found that they all differed greatly depending on the size grant and architect chosen. We must count ourselves as lucky -- we got beautiful buildings -- there are some that are not so nice. Lompoc had a mission, La Purisima de Conception, that was part of the California mission system (now a state park.) In the 1874, settlers came and began a temperance colony that seemed to thrive. In 1888, the city was incorporated (it's certainly not 'city' size even today) and the temperance designation on land deed's was deemed illegal. It remained a sleepy little agriculture town until the 1950's when Vandeberg AFB opened at the site of the former Camp Cook. Aerospace was the word of the day with west coast missle launches during the 60's an 70's. Plans were to have west coast space shuttle launches, but after the disaster in 1986 that was scrubbed. I left in the 70's and returned for visits until I had no more relatives there. I remember all the fields of flowers and pinquito beans. Some of the fields have given way to new houses, but it's still mainly an agricultural town. It's good to keep it in my mind's eye the way I remember it and not try to go back.

So cute - I have the opposite color here doing almost the same thing! They can be so funny, can't they?
