Wednesday's Retail Therapy....I love polka dots...in all sizes. The blue was on sale at $3.50 a yard. The others were the regular prices, so I only got a quarter yard.
That's plenty for me..*VBS* It's a very cold 40's in my part of WI this morning, with a gray, dreary sky. The trees are beginning to change, and I've heard the first flock of Canadial geese flying over. I haven't seen my Finn-Dixie hummingbird guest since my Winn-Dixie post..that probably was about last Sunday. She ate so often..must have been in preparation for her migration. The gold finches seem to be missing also. The feeders just hang and sway in the wind.
And I want to take this opportunity to give a big BLOGLAND welcome to another new quilter friend..*VBS* whom I missed back when she joined us. Drop by and say hello to Quilty Nurse at http://quiltynurse.blogspot.com/ She has a great post today about the Diaries of Dog and Cats. And lots of really great quilt pictures on her blog..*VBS*

Finn, ya, the previous post is pale pink. Not sure what happened there. Usually you have to over-ride that when you post to change it in some way. This one looks fine though. Pam tells me hers had disappeared this morning---could be worse.
Well you know how I feel about polka dots, huh? COllect them whereever I go. Just have to have tons and tons!! Good pieces!
Yea, the pink is a little hard to read, but I did it!
I absolutely LOVE the multisized bubble fabric on the right of your picture! Who makes it? I may have to try tracking some down for my own collection :-)
I recently started collecting polka dot fabric. But I prefer an all over pattern instead of polka dots that are in rows. Does that make sense? Don't know what I'm going to do with the fabric yet. It's probably too early to know that.
I love dots! In fact I have a FQ of the one on the right. It will feature in one of my next projects along with a bunch of other black/bright prints and co-ordinating bright moda marbles.
I love the fabric you bought! Any ideas of what they're going to end up in?
I'm catching up on everybody's blogs, and I want to tell you that I agree with your "portable soapbox" posts. I think it's going beyond the beyond.
I am finding more and more polka dots in my stash. Not by design really, but I just keep getting drawn to them.
Gosh 40's is pretty darned cold. I hope you are going to stay bundled up and toasty warm. Looks like your birdie friends got out of town in the nick of time. *s*
Love those dots Finn, and there's nothing wrong with only getting a quarter! When you consider how long it's taking some of us to get thru our stash, a quarter is heaps!
*hugs*

Brrrr - sounds cold there. It's cold in Canberra too. Actually I call it Canbrrrra!!
Retail therapy is always a good thing! What fun polka dots!
Love those polka dots!
I love those dots! Especially the ones on the right. Nice therapy, there. Keep warm! It's still shorts weather for me.
Bubbles! I love bubbles!
Your previous post is showing up pale blue on my pc.

Finn, I'll look for the birds down here in Florida. My birdfeeder has been empty for weeks since the hawk got my bluejays.. Hope he is long gone. Enjoy those cooler temps.. it was 88 here yesterday.. Love your fabric choices..
Oooh, love the polka dots! It's amazing how many have ended up in my own stash. Heck, I didn't even know I was collecting them!!!
Great dots! I'm a dotty person, too! :)
Just looking back at this post after reading today's - realized I have a bunch of that blue in storage somewhere - anxious to get it out!
