Ebby...1 Wizard...0
The Wizard falls. After a long and successful reign as Supreme Ruler of the sewing room, the Wizard is bested by the new black cat. Down for the count, I think. And the dragon is

nowhere to be seen. Usually The Wizard is hard at work protecting my fabric and projects from inturders. His dragon Scorch is usually right by his side.
Poor Wizard, he never saw it coming. Neither did I. I turned from the computer and there he was, down on the floor with a big black cat sitting on him pulling his whiskers. I was totally surprised!!! This very shy, fearful, repressed black cat has a WILD side!
She pulled him about by his hair. She bit his nose and untied his waist cord. She even tried to de-slipper him. One foot is hanging off to the side now. She was brutal. You can see the fear in his eyes...his days of reigning supreme are over. I just hope we can find Scorch so The Wizard can catch a ride back to a more peaceful kingdom. Posted by Picasa

Ebby is now the Ruler. Sorry about the Wizard. Scorch has probably flown to another kingdom leaving his ruler behind. Glad to see Ebby is protecting you and the fabric stash.

Finn, as to the civil war quilt, it is coming along in fits and starts, a few stitches here and there. i am feeling much better and back to work FT.

i'm heading for houston in a couple of weeks with my local quilting gals. trying to store up my energy for that!!! thanks for asking!@

*s* I guess we know who the new ruler will be. Even a ruler should have a wizard for an assistant -- able to do scorcery to keep possible invaders out of the kindgom.

Whilst I don't like to hear of anyone being beaten up, it does sound like Ebby is right at home and playing happily.

The pics are great. My daughter had an all black dog and can never get a good pic of his face either. You and Ebby are a perfect match. I'm so happy you found each other. Hugs.

Lol,she must have thought that the Wiz was prey and has already disposed of the dragon when you were asleep. Kitties are so funny!

Mine was hauling her rubbery key chain in the early morning hours--thank heavens it isn't a dead mouse instead.

Poor Wizard and Scorch! I have a teddy bear named Earl who used to preside over my sewing room. But after Tic-Cat kept hauling him around (and attempting to have his way with him!) I decided maybe he'd be happier living in the closet. That was 5 or 6 years ago as Tic's been gone for 4 years now and poor Earl still lives in the closet. Cause now there are Agatha, and Fluffy, and Charlie, and Sam, and George who would probably treat him just as bad. Poor Earl.

Ebby's just preparing the ground for her witch to join her -- wipe that male power right out of the way! :-)

Poor little guy. Sure hope his dragon shows up soon. Sounds like you may have the makings of a little tyrant there. As long as Ebby protects your fabric you should be OK - unless he starts protecting it from you LOL!

This is cracking me up Finn! If it were Chloe there would be nothing left of the poor wizzard! I found the only thing she chews on is my quilts and stuffed "things"!

Did the Wiz try to fight back? My first cat took a dislike to a small cactus plant and would tear it out of its pot and carry it off. I tried replanting several times, each time the cat would ignore the considerable thorns and carry it off again. Cats are strange....and fun. Scorch is probably hiding in the deepest cave he can find.Dragons are smarter that wizards.

I'd look for Scorch under the bed... lol bet that's where Ebby was 'drag-on' him off to. :)

Sounds like Ebby's going to be a real treat to have around!

Ha, ha ha ha...this is how Daisy (our cat) feels about Cucoo. I have to keep him put up out of her way.

Now you know why I have so many cat toys...they need something to wrestle with every once in a while and those little soft mice toys are also great for batting around.

Your poor Wizard!
