Happy Halloween Everyone...from Ms. Ebby and Finn...*VBS* May your treats be many and your tricks, few. Just had to share again, this favorite place
that Ebby loves to sleep. It's only good when I am on the computer, however. But she looks adorable and I love the colors...*VBS*
The basic concept of a scrap bag is that it holds bits and pieces of this and that....all ready to use. And my Picasa 2 folder is one of my scrapbags. I dug in there today for these pictures to share with you.
This little goodie appeared back in August. The blocks are still stacked and need sizing and sewing. That's what is left on my October goals list. I may be able to get at them today...then I'd have completed(or at least worked on all
three of my goals for this month. The Broken Dishes will go on and on I'm sure.
These few blocks were made back in early December and then put away until later. Guess what tomorrow is??? Yup, later! I feel drawn to sew on them again. I can only make a limited number, because I need 5 3" squares of the red and cream Marcus Bros check for each square, and I have only "some" of it left in my stash. It's way past it's popularity of the late 80's and early 90's. I'll go as far as the fabric does...LOL. Not sure what else will come up on my November list, but I'm thinking about it.
TOMORROW...for Angie and Sprig...pictures of my stash....all who have seen it ... just skip on by..*VBS* Happy Haunting everyone! Posted by Picasa

So many red blocks - so little time *s* Both block sets are going to make great quilts. I'll be looking forward to seeing your stash, too. I bet you have a good one. Happy Halloween!

You know, Finn, there are those of us who have stashes that date back to the late 1970's. *Ahem*. Put up a close up of that red/cream fabric, maybe one of us has it in our stash and can part with it. Love the red&white blocks. Is that the way you're going to set it?

Happy Halloween, dear Finn and Ebby!!! :D I wanna come play in your scrap bag...and I haven't even seen it yet!!! LOL I love that red/cream combo, Finn. I'm working on a small project that may end up being multiples for christmas gifts and I need red/gree/gold/blue scraps. My scrap bag is sorely lacking---cause I'm doing more dreaming than sewing!! LOL

Your red quilt is so eye catching!

Love the red squares-seems to move. But I'm mad on those log cabins with the flying geese corners, I printed off a photo of a big one recently for ideas. I'll be watching yours with interest.

Send me a pic of your red and cream check because I think I might be able to help you out? I had a jumper made out of what you may be talking about and if not the jumper then the apron that went with it--of course it no longer fits and no longer with that guild. Paula might be the only with older stuff to be had!

I love the two toned blocks and look at that pretty Halloweenie looking kitty on her green paper! Lovely contrast.

I remember the red and white quilt as soon as I saw it. It will be so nice when it is completed. The pinapple is nice also. Your cat is so pretty. I am happy to hear you two are getting along and taking care of each other.

Oh what pretties, and your Ebby on that lime green...beautiful colors together.

Ebby is costumed so appropriately for this holiday-there is just nothing like a basic black ensemble!

Looking good, Finn!

Can't you find something close to your triangle fabric to keep making the pineapple blocks and the little bonus square?
