Ebby Sez:

How Many Dogs Does It Take To Screw In A Lightbulb???? A quiz for cats.

1.Golden Retriever: The sun is shining, the day is young, we've got our whole lives ahead of us, and you're inside worrying about a burned out lightbulb?
2.Border Collie: Just one. And then I'll replace any wiring that's not up to code.
3.Dachshund: You know I can't reach that stupid lamp.
4.Rottweiller: Make me.
5.Boxer: who cares? I can still play with my squeeky toys in the dark.
6.Lab:Oh, me, me!!!!! Pleeeeeeze let me change the light bulb! Can I?? Pleeeeeze, please, please.
7.German Shepard: I'll change it as soon as I've led these people from the dark, check to make sure I haven't missed any and make just one more parimeter to see that oneone has tried to take advantage of the situation.
8. Jack Russell Terrier: I'll just pop it in while I'm bouncing off the walls and furniture.
9.Old English Sheepdog: Light bulb? I'm sorry but I don't see any light bulb.
10.Cocker Spaniel: why change it? I can still see to pee on the carpet in the dark.
11.Chihuahua: yo quiero Taco Bulb. Or "We don't need no stinking light bulb?"
12.Australian Cattle Dog: first I'll get all the light bulbs in a circle....
13:Greyhound: It isn't moving. Who cares?
14:Bichon: I'll just blow in the Border Collie's ear and he'll do it. By the time he finishes rewiring the house, my nails will be dry.

Ebby and I rest our case for Golden Retrievers..*VBS*

A very dear friend of mine had a golden retriever dog they called Ned who lived to a good old age but sadly died about three or four years ago - we always referred to him (the dog not the friend you understand) as the 'hairy leaver' because of the hair 'tumbleweed' balls he would leave all round the edge of the kitchen floor

Hee,hee - you make me chuckle at times. You make me think at times. You make me reflect on my past. And my present. And my future. You make me smile. That's what friends are for. Hugs from someone who hopes she is considered your friend.

Very cute, and Tabith is in agreement on that Golden Retreivers are definitely the dogs to have.

Too funny!!! OK. Who came up with these...you, Finn...or Ebby?!

Too funny Ebby. Swampy's cattle dog genes are stronger than her Border Collie genes, as she would much rather round things up. Border Collies are such Know-it-alls aren't they? Simon my beagle says that he would only change the lightbulb if it were edible.

Hi Ebby. Great friends of ours have a black labrador. That is exactly the sort of thing she would say (after hoovering up crumbs).
