Chickens....

Rabbit Stitching asked about the pattern for the chickens in my post day before yesterday. It's a rotary cut(by measurements)pattern from a Country Threads book. I think it was the first one, The Quilt Shop Series, but they have chicken patterns in almost everything they publish. The block is 10.5" unfinished.
On the home front, another quiet day at home..temps outside mid to high 90's and altho the humidity has dropped, my breathing still isn't the best. Tomorrow I get to ride along with DD#1 while she delivers a riding lawn mower to her middle brother. It will give me a chance to see several of my many grandsons. It'll be 7 hours of riding, but it will be air conditioned...LOL.
See you all on Sunday probably.

And we'll miss you! But, we'all be happy that you're getting out, seeing family and staying cool! P.S. You see...people like your 'putzy' chickens! They have that...well, chicken kind of charm!
Cheeps to all your peeps! Have fun!

Hi Finn! Love the chickens! It sounds like you are having lots of fun, getting packages in the mail, going on a road trip. You are so talented, even giving out blogging advice - thanks for the tip on the search box!

I hope you have a great visit with your folks, and since it sounds just as hot there as here, enjoy the air conditioned ride!

Have a great weekend!

Have a great visit. Those chickens are what I started with for my chicken quilt and just evolved from there. There was no stopping them so beware!
